Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, in collaboration with the Management and Entrepreneurship and Skill Promotion Council (MEPSC), invites applications for contractual positions under the newly established Centre of Excellence in Entrepreneurial Skills and Policy (CEESP).
The Centre aims to serve as a national knowledge hub connecting academia, industry, and government to promote evidence-based entrepreneurship development, inclusion, and mass entrepreneurship initiatives.

Position 1: Manager, CEESP
Educational Qualification
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university
Preferred:
- Post-Graduate Degree / PGDM / MBA in Management, Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Economics, or related disciplines
Experience
Essential:
- Experience in entrepreneurship, social work, development sector, incubation, MSMEs, livelihoods, or skill development programmes
Desirable:
- Experience with academic institutions, government agencies, NGOs, CSR programmes, grant writing, fundraising, and partnerships
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee CEESP operations and programme management
- Coordinate entrepreneurship events, workshops, and incubation activities
- Lead grant proposal writing and fundraising initiatives
- Build partnerships with startups, policymakers, CSR organisations, and industry stakeholders
- Supervise Research Associates and support staff
- Support incubation programmes, seed grants, and outreach initiatives
Position 2: Research Associate, CEESP
Educational Qualification
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university
Preferred:
- Post-Graduate Degree in Management, Economics, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Work, Commerce, or related disciplines
Preferred Experience
- Academic or policy research
- Case writing, fieldwork, publication support
- Entrepreneurship, MSME, livelihoods, or skilling-related research
Key Responsibilities
- Support entrepreneurship and policy research studies
- Assist with literature reviews, data collection, analysis, and manuscript preparation
- Develop case studies and academic materials
- Support conferences, seminars, and entrepreneurship showcase events
- Maintain research repositories and documentation
General Information
Age Limit
- Maximum 35 years as on the closing date of application
- Relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules
Appointment Details
- Fixed-term contract for 2 years
- Extendable based on performance and Institute requirements
- Health Insurance coverage for employee as per Institute norms
Place of Posting
- Main Campus: Gambheeram Village, Anandapuram Mandal, Visakhapatnam
- City Campus: Andhra University precincts, Visakhapatnam
- Travel within India may be required
