CSIR-CCMB Recruitment 2026 Notification
The CSIR – Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad has released an official notification inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Project Technical Support-III on a contractual basis under the project “Implementation of Wastewater Surveillance for Multi-pathogens across India.”

Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess either of the following:
Option 1
- Three-year Graduation in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Virology, or relevant subjects)
- Plus 3 years of relevant experience
OR
Option 2
- Postgraduate Degree (M.Sc.) in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Virology, or any relevant Life Science discipline.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- More than one year of experience in NGS library preparation including:
- Metagenomics
- Whole Genome Sequencing
- Transcriptomics
- More than one year of hands-on Molecular Biology wet lab experience
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
Age relaxation will be applicable as per CSIR/Government of India rules.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive:
- ₹28,000 per month
- 30% House Rent Allowance (HRA)
Approximate Monthly Salary: ₹36,400
