Banaras Hindu University (BHU), through the Institute of Environment & Sustainable Development, has released an official notification inviting applications for the Junior Research Assistant (JRA) position under a Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh (CST-UP) sponsored research project. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with postgraduate qualifications in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Agriculture, or Environmental Sciences who wish to build a career in research and sustainable agriculture.

The selected candidate will work on the prestigious research project titled “Bioprospecting fast decomposer and plant growth promoting microorganisms to develop organic rich bio-fortified compost cum biofertilizers for enhancing sustainable vegetable production.” The appointment is purely temporary and will remain co-terminus with the project.

The fellowship is ₹25,000 per month for the first two years and ₹28,000 per month during the third year. Educational Qualification

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive an attractive monthly fellowship:

  • ₹25,000 per month for the first and second year
  • ₹28,000 per month for the third year
