Walk-in Interview for Research Associate (Genetics & Plant Breeding)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates to attend the Walk-in Interview for the temporary post of Research Associate (Genetics & Plant Breeding) to work at Agricultural Research Station, Ragolu and Agricultural Research Station, Amadalavalasa, Srikakulam District.

Position Details

Educational Qualifications

Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding
  OR
• M.Sc. (Ag.) in Genetics & Plant Breeding
  OR
• Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with First Division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA along with at least two years of research experience evidenced through Fellowship/Associateship/Training/other engagements.

Note:

• All relevant degrees should be completed from ICAR accredited Universities/Colleges.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be involved in the following activities:

• Assistance in making crosses and generation/study of breeding material pertaining to pulses.
• Evaluation of pulse cultures under different yield trials.
• Seed production activities in pulses.
• Breeding-related work in Rice and Pulse crops.
• Assistance in administrative and other research works as assigned.

Age Limit

• Maximum 35 years for Men
• Maximum 40 years for Women

Salary

• Rs. 61,000/- + HRA per month for M.Sc. (Ag.) candidates
• Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month for Ph.D. candidates

• Bio-data/CV
• Original certificates
• Two sets of Xerox copies of educational qualifications and supporting documents
• Latest passport-size photograph
• No Objection Certificate (if employed)

• The position is purely temporary.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• The decision of the selection committee shall be final and binding in all respects.
