Salary

The selected candidate will receive:

  • Years 1 & 2: ₹37,000 per month + HRA
  • Year 3: ₹42,000 per month + HRA

Project Duration

  • Initial appointment for 3 months
  • Extendable up to 3 years
  • Renewal every three months based on satisfactory performance and project funding.

PhD Opportunity

Outstanding candidates may be considered for PhD admission at IIT Hyderabad under the same project, subject to institute rules and research performance.

Job Responsibilities

The JRF will be responsible for:

  • Conducting laboratory column experiments
  • Performing lysimeter experiments
  • Data collection, analysis, and interpretation
  • Developing mathematical models for nanoatrazine transport in soil
  • Modeling and simulation studies
  • Preparing technical reports
  • Writing research papers for reputed journals
  • Preparing conference presentations
  • Assisting in laboratory management and project documentation

Essential Qualification

Applicants must possess:

Bachelor’s Degree

  • First Class B.E./B.Tech in:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Water Resources Engineering
    • Chemical Engineering
    • or allied disciplines

Master’s Degree

First Class M.E./M.Tech in any of the following:

  • Hydraulics
  • Water Resources Engineering
  • Hydrology
  • Hydrogeology
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Earth Sciences
  • Agriculture
  • Allied disciplines

Desired Skills

Preference will be given to candidates having:

  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Excellent analytical ability
  • Programming experience
  • Knowledge of flow and transport through porous media
  • Experience in mathematical modeling
  • Simulation of environmental processes
  • Scientific writing skills

Age Limit

Maximum age: 30 Years
