The Department of Chemical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Warangal invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF funded research project titled:
“Mechanistic Insights of CO₂ Conversion into Methane over Engineered Perovskite-based Catalysts under Mild Conditions”
Position Details
- Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with the following qualifications are eligible:
- M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc./M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical, Materials, Metallurgical, Chemistry, Energy Engineering, or related specializations relevant to Heterogeneous Catalysis.
- OR B.E./B.Tech in relevant disciplines with required percentage/CGPA.
- Preference will be given to candidates with GATE qualification.
Desired Skills
- Experience in catalyst development and characterization techniques
- Knowledge of heterogeneous catalysis
- Familiarity with computational tools for data analysis and modelling
- Ability to independently handle laboratory experimental work
Age Limit
- GEN/GEN-EWS: 28 Years
- OBC-NCL: 31 Years
- SC/ST/PwD/Female Candidates: 33 Years
Fellowship
- ₹37,000/- per month for the first two years
- ₹42,000/- per month for the third year
- HRA as per institute norms
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work on:
- Development of engineered perovskite catalysts
- Catalytic studies for CO₂ methanation
- Experimental and analytical research activities
PhD Opportunity
Selected candidates may register for a Ph.D. at National Institute of Technology Warangal as per institute rules.
